Open the photo(s) in Photoshop and identify the areas of value. 3. Create a NEW LAYER  (transparent) over the background. This layer will hold the black outlines you will draw in the next step.  4. Set the PENCIL or PEN tool to 5-6px in width, with HARDNESS set to 100% 5. Carefully, with black pencil or pen, outline the different observable areas of value.  DIRECTIONS FOR PAINTING: 1. DIRECTIONS. 1. Follow tutorial in class. 2. Conduct an image search for a variety of animals to combine (image selection as advised during tutorial). 3. Using the process and tools explained in the tutorial (CLONE STAMP, plus IMAGE+ADJUSTMENTS...) begin putting together your first morphed animal. GOALS: 1. Choice of animals to combine is logical and makes 'sense.' 2. Believability (careful tool application) of selections and edges. 3. Believability of color/tone/exposure/selective color. 4.
